Download YomiPDF-v0.0.5-macOS.dmg using the download button above.
Open the .dmg file and drag YomiPDF into your Applications folder.
Launch YomiPDF and log in with your thophan.com account to authorize and activate.
💡 macOS First Launch Notice (Gatekeeper):
If macOS displays "YomiPDF quit unexpectedly" or blocks the app on first launch (due to ad-hoc developer signature), you can easily clear the macOS quarantine flag using either method below:
• Method 1 (Simple): Go to Applications folder -> Right-click YomiPDF -> Select Open -> Click Open.
• Method 2 (Via Terminal): Open Terminal app and run the following command:

Easily customize your offline dictionary setup in a few simple steps inside YomiPDF.
1. Open Dictionary Settings
Inside YomiPDF app, open Settings (shortcut Cmd + ,) and switch to the Dictionaries tab.
2. Enable / Disable Dictionaries
Toggle switches next to installed dictionaries (e.g. JMdict JP-EN or JP-VI) to prioritize your preferred lookup sources.
3. Add Custom Dictionary (Import SQLite)
Click "Import SQLite Dictionary" and choose any custom .sqlite or .db dictionary file from your Mac.
4. Delete Custom Dictionaries
Click the Trash icon next to any custom imported dictionary to remove it instantly.
